In order to achieve the best shielding performance, the two layers of honeycombs are usually required to be perpendicular to each other, but they may not be used in a few applications. The honeycomb core can also be designed at an angle, and standard perforated honeycombs with 30°, 45°, 60° and 90° angles are available to guide the airflow to a specific direction.
